Laird of Great Rivers & Routes kicks off the show, and she fills us in on the important and growing field of sports tourism in the Metro East. From boat racing on the Mississippi to professional tennis and youth sports, she discusses the significant impact of sports tourism in the area.

Next up, former Waterloo Bulldog basketball and soccer star Norah Gum is continuing her hoops career at Missouri S & T. Gum describes the transition from high school to college, and she shares her excitement on being selected to represent the USA in an upcoming trip to Brazil. Gum describes the process of being selected on the D2 National Team and the details of the upcoming trip.

Completing the show, we are joined by Coach Justin Judiscak and Allie Tredway of O'Fallon Girls Soccer, which recently earned the MESPY for 3A Team of the Year with their remarkable state-championship season. Judiscak outlines his general coaching philosophy and the "secrets" to their success: hard work, talent, and character development. Tredway, who led the team in scoring this year, talks about her plans for next year and scoring the state-winning goal.
