The Shapiro sisters of Edwardsville are super athletes. Sophia, a sophomore at Edwardsville HS, just finished in the top four in the state in the 100 and 300-meter hurdles. Serena, who is currently an 8th grader at Liberty MS, just competed in multiple events at state for her track team. Serena talks about looking forward to joining her sister at EHS and describes their supportive, friendly rivalry. Sophia talks about picking up a new sport this fall: flag football!

Next up, Nolan Keller plays on the Triad HS Basketball and Baseball teams. The junior talks about the recent basketball season in which the Knights reached the super-sectional, and the pitcher/third baseman shares his baseball goals for his high school and college careers.

Rounding out the show is boxer, trainer, and writer Mark Connor. Connor reads a couple of his boxing-inspired poems from his book It's About Time (a Million copies sold for Dad), and he describes his life as a child and then as an adult in St. Paul, Minnesota.
