May 06, 2025

Presented by Little Caesars Pizza, this show rocks! Featuring: Coach Jake Williams and Mia Lieberman of Fr. McGivney Volleyball; faith-based writer Cary Knox; and photographers Paul Baillargeon and Jackson Niehaus.

We begin this episode by celebrating the accomplishments of the 1A Girls Volleyball Team of the Year, Fr. McGivney. Repping the Griffins in the studio are Coach Jake Williams and middle hitter Mia Lieberman. Williams, who just completed his third year leading his team, shares his thoughts on the team's season, and he outlines his journey in the sport. Williams is joined by his six foot superstar who is rewriting the record books at her school smashing the top marks for aces, blocks, and kills!

Next up, we chat with Cary Knox--rancher, teacher, coach, and writer. Knox has written a faith-based book detailing the Christian journeys of Illini greats Red Grange, Dick Butkus, and George Halas. Knox discusses coaching with his son, teaching kids with special needs, and the role that his faith has played in his life.

Finally, we have a unique discussion with expert sports photographer Paul Baillargeon, who talks about shooting the SIUE Cougars in their recent basketball NCAA game. Then, we are joined by high school student Jackson Niehaus of Edwardsville HS, who has just begun his journey as a sports photographer. Baillargeon shares sage advice with the teenager about how to handle himself at games and how to successfully monetize his ventures. Niehaus shares how he got started and asks poignant questions of Baillargeon.
