Up first, Kelsey Pickering explains why at Edwardsville "the expectations are high but it's all about the kids." Pickering accepts the MESPY for 8A Team of the Year, and he comments on how year two was different and the character of his team.

Then, we are joined by the Minutemaids of Bunker Hill Jr. High Girls Volleyball, which recently won their second consecutive state championship! In the studio are coaches Danielle Redman and Krissy Howard, who detail coaching the girls and what made their squad stand out. The girls, Cheyann Higgins, Bethany Scroggins, and Eden Howard, talk about their "special bond," their expectations for high school next year, and their memories from their two championships.

Finishing up the show, Belleville East Head Football Coach Michael Harrison Jr. is in the studio with the Lancer MESPY winner for co-8A Player of the Year, Jonathan "Juice" Rulo. Harrison describes coaching Rulo and what he means to the program. Rulo, who also received the MESPY for Wrestler of the Year, describes what he loves about both sports, his big dreams for his career beyond high school, and he shares his fondest memories from the past season.
