This episode kicks off with Dr. Justin Warren of Granite City, the local "Dean of Metro East boys high school volleyball," along with Jack Grimm, who started the boys volleyball program at Maryville Christian School. These two volleyball gurus preview the upcoming volleyball season in the metro east along with sharing some insight into their own sports journeys.
Everyone is talking about Mascoutah, Triad, and Granite City joining the Southwestern Conference in the 26-27 school year. Scott Battas, AD at Mascoutah, was one of the driving forces behind that change. In this episode Battas explains the who, when, and why of this major development, which is guaranteed to change the athletic experience of virtually every high school athlete and every community in the Metro East in the very near future.
