I noticed something strange the last few weeks. I've seen a lot of dead and smelly skunks in my travels. August can't be skunk season. Now it's not like I keep track of these things, but I usually notice the smell of dead skunks in the spring and fall. Spring is mating season for most wild animals, so they're generally very active. In the fall, the weather starts to turn, and animals start looking for food and shelter, so they're on the move again. This skunk activity can't just be a random coincidence...
