The Darkest Night MMC78 | The Manlihood ManCast with Josh Hatcher

March 30, 2020

Stay safe. Be smart. Be prepared.
We are in uncertain times. And these times are causing many to lose hope.
While this episode is being recorded - we’re in the middle of a global pandemic - if you’re listening this well into the future - which happens a lot with podcasts - you’ll know that we survived this. And that it wasn’t the end of the world.

So i want to speak not only to the moment that we’re in - but to all moments that are dark. All times that are hard.

“Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise”-Victor Hugo
Sometimes - this dark hour is just going to get better.
Sometimes - you might have to drag that sun up over the horizon yourself… well.. You can’t do that - but you can turn on a light.

And in our Ask a Man Segment:

My dad left before i was born. he tried to be involved for a little while, but then just disappeared out my life. i hated him for years, and now i'm over it. I don't even care enough to hate him. But i just found out my fiance is pregnant, which means i'm going to be a dad. I am scared to death of this. I don't know what a dad is supposed to be. What do i need to know?
