We think we understand software. We have classes. We have apps. We have an industry. We even have an industrial holiday for it - the Week of Code in December. Yet, what it is and what it is doing to our lives remain a bit obscure. For many, it remains something almost magical. It is, however, a direct result of industrialization. This episode tries to help us understand what it is and what it is doing. And if it doesn't accomplish that goal, it at least lays down the ideas that we will use to explore it.
