It is all about control, power, and money. The fact that there is a drug for everything, and that far too often, a healthcare professional somewhere is willing to prescribe it. One in six are on a psychiatric drug, and as you go lower in age, those numbers increase dramatically. What’s even more shocking is that now with the growing awareness that drugs are not working, psychiatrists are wanting to use electro shock therapy on children! The target has quickly become OUR CHILDREN.
“Parents are being betrayed, They are trusting the experts, and they’re going against their own commonsense,” says Dr. Lagemann.
And the end-goal – life-long consumers of these products and services – which result in billions and billions of dollars in profits. “These companies they are not about public service, these companies are about profits,” says Dr. Lagemann.
“To put your children on these drugs and just go on about your merry-way, and not try to find out why the child is having problems, I don’t get that,” says Host Beverly Butler.
I’m here today with Dr. Linda Lagemann, and we’re going to be discussing this alarming trend and she’s going to tell us what she and the Citizens Commission on Human Rights, the organization she’s affiliated with are doing about it.
Dr. Linda Lagemann
Dr. Linda Lagemann is a licensed clinical psychologist with 23 years of experience in the field. After observing that the “mental health” field had become dominated by psychiatric labels and drugs and was doing more harm than help, she decided to close her practice. She now devotes herself full-time to getting laws passed to protect people’s rights and to informing people about the disability caused by psychiatric drugs and electroshock. She has a particular focus on protecting children, who have become the fastest growing market for the psychiatric industry.
Dr. Lagemann is a Commissioner for Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR). She is also an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in the Department of Medicine (3-time recipient of the UCSF Annual Teaching Excellence Award). She is featured in the independent documentary “American Addict 2: The Big Lie“.
“We consume 80% of all pharmaceuticals on the planet, and we rank 27th in health,” states Dr. Linda Lagemann. “We are past time that people have their head in the sand, we need to see things as they are,” says Host Beverly Butler.
