Testimony of Fr. Patrick LaPointe

Father Patrick LaPointe was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the rural countryside. He was the youngest of 4 children. The children went to parochial school until his 5^th grade year and then to public school. The family laxed in their Sunday obligation and only went to church on Christmas and Easter. Father Pat went into the Air Force then married his high school sweetheart a year later. Tragedy struck the family shortly after and his wife’s parents died in a tragic accident, leaving all her younger siblings They raised the two youngest and then later had their own children. Father Pat was a husband and a father to four children. Fr, Pat was a Cantor in his parish. He also served as a permanent Deacon in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. After his wife’s death, he discerned the call to the Priesthood. Father Pat will share his life journey and how along the way God was continuing to prepare and equip him for priestly ministry. Fr. Pat was ordained in 2023. He currently serves as pastor at St. Joseph’s Historic Catholic Church in Pensacola Florida.
