The LOTRO Game Servers will be brought down on Wednesday, February 4th from 7:00AM – 12:00PM Eastern (-5 GMT) to launch Update 15.2. Patch notes will be available during the downtime. Thanks for your patience, and we’ll see you back in the game soon!

 

Music System Not in 15.2

Based on the dropped notes and the need to get 15.2 out to correct other issues currently on Live, we have pulled the music changes from the build, so they will not be pushed to Live with 15.2. We will continue to look into the dropped notes problem and aim to have the music improvements out with U16.

Server Transfer Update

• Account transfer: This new checkbox in the Server Transfer interface will allow the transfer of all account level items from one server to another. These items include the following:
  
  • 
    
  • Account Shared Currency (Mithril Coins & Skirmish )
    
  • Shared Storage
    
  • Housing Storage
    
  • Wardrobe
    
  • Destiny
    
  
  
  
• Hoping to add kinship information data to the new server as you transfer.
  
• We are looking into a change in the way name conflicts are handled to give priority to the active characters.
  
• We are only able to support transfers of characters from an EU world to another EU world and US to US.
  
• Bullroarer testing for this may start in Spring
