• He’s not heard any direct conversations about more and new skirmishes. He knows they are talking about changes and improvements to epic battles, and he knows Rowan had mentioned a new epic battle in one of his producer’s letters, but nothing about skirmishes.
  

Discussion of the new fabric in Dol Amroth

• Yes, if you haven’t seen it on Bullroarer, there is a new fabric that is amazingly beautiful. It’s translucent blue fabric that is just pretty great, frankly.
  

The second skirmish tutorial is busted!

Take all the points out of the trees. Don’t put any points in the trees and then you can slot the skirmish soldier trees.

Hi,

I just wanted to thank you for the “Walk through” episode.  I listened to it whilst driving and I can’t wait to actually see it.  I look forward to the next show, because I love hearing what Cari & Layanor have to say. I started on Elendilmir, and I have my largest clan of alts there, with several 95s.  It seemed that people had just about stopped playing on that server and I was very sad.  I even tried ESO, but it seemed rather a heartless game compared to LOTRO.

Happily, several of my friends from Elendilmir have found new enthusiasm by either transferring characters or rolling up new ones on Brandywine.  Since I’m an altaholic, with little clans on Elendilmir, Landroval, Crickhollow and Brandywine, I was set and I’m happily leveling again.  We do skraid and skirm, but my first love is leveling.  I really like the idea of smaller, more frequent updates with new levels to earn, and new places to see.  Like many, I’m not a fan of Epic Battles. What they said about the ability to complete either solo or in fellowship for the new area seems like an excellent idea!

Hey, gang, got a couple quick questions for you:

1. What is your favorite region, and why? (mine’s Archet, so many fond beginner memories.)

2.  Where do you do all your crafting? (for me, Bree for the most part, then Galtrev when I get to that level range.)

3.  If I am in a freep raid in the moors, and I am standing in the middle of everyone, how are wargs able to find me and kill me so quickly? (I must be wearing bacon scented cologne.)

4.  What is something you hope to see in the future in Lotro? (Shelob’s Lair 3/6-man.)

5. Have you heard of the two Blue Wizards in the Lord of the Rings lore? Tolkien never really wrote a story for them, or went into any detail at all about them, except saying that they went into the East. In some of his letters, he mentions that they may have failed in their quest, and became evil leaders, or maybe they fought great battles of their own that greatly influenced what happened in Middle Earth. Did you ever notice in East Rohan, that there are certain Easterlings called Blue Caste. I’ve always believed that was Turbine’s nod towards the Blue Wizards, and that they follow the line of thought of them turning evil, and they set up enemy armies.

6. If I somehow channel Lotro through a Game Shark, or Game Genie, can I make it so that I get more gold HD jewelery???

7. Wouldn’t it be funny if part of the epic story line in the future involved that little hobbit pretending to be a Black Rider in the Shire turning into an actual Black Rider? And then they make a raid out of it and it’s an insanely difficult raid and that little hobbit wipes everyone countless times. Oh, what a world that would be!
