Food is essential for life. I mean proper food that is not drenched in chemicals, not grown quickly for size. We need good wholesome food, that improves the soil t is grown in.

Distance to market is vital. Transporting food across the world is not helping. Sweetcorn loses half its sugar content within 30 minutes of being picked. Why do we need plums (or any other fruit) picked green and ripened during transport? Twist an applle from the tree, take a good bite, and relish the juices running down your chin. That's food.

In this podcast I just point out that it is possible to grow your own food. Even a few plants on a windowsill will bring pleasure.
