"Turn our will and our lives over to the care of GOD as we understand HIM" Thats so funny because when I first entered the program of recovery - "I" did NOT understand GOD or HIS Plans for me. I was convinced that I was doomed - going to Hell in a Handbag, and there was NO HOPE for me. I was raised a Catholic - and along with my Catholic upbringing - I grew up filled with GUILT. Many individuals like myself - consider ourselves - RECOVERING CATHOLICS as we work to let go of the Guilt that I learned to Associate my self with on almost a daily basis....
