...Relationships in Recovery. My friend "BOB's" Daughter was viciously kicked out of the home she had been sharing/living in for almost 7 yrs. BY her ALCOHOLIC Significant Other. As "BOB" explained it - "he told her to get out right away - that he didn't want anything to do with her any longer". It was my understanding that they had been together for quite a few years, yet-in a drunken stuper- "HE" (his daughters Significant other) - decides that he doesn't want to have to deal with her any longer and throws her out.

Being the GREAT Dad that he is - "BOB"and his wife went out and bought her a home to live in. I asked did they ever consider - "What if "HE" her former Boyfriend decided he wants her back...Then what?
