088: Fighting Right with Dr. William Ryan and Dai & Christie Manuel

February 10, 2021

Ever wished you can spy on someone's marriage? See what's going on inside and how they can be doing things differently?
In this episode, you can! Dai and Christie Manuel share what it's like to be married to each other (like how they quit their jobs to travel the world, don't shy away from disagreements, and how they make up)  and Psychologist, Dr. Willam Ryan gives them feedback. You'll hear what they're doing right (like repairing injuries quickly, make their individual selves explicit, and how they're bringing out the best in themselves) and how they can take their relationship up a notch (like by taking responsibility if they have triggered one another.)
It's a super cool episode and packed with so much value; done in a completely different sort of way. If you loved this episode as much as I did, stay tuned for more of this awesomeness!
Please Note: This is not on-air couples therapy, counseling, or professional advice. If you need help in your marriage, please seek professional help immediately.

Dai and Christie are about health, happiness, community, life experiences, and leading by example. They recognized time was the one thing they could not create more of, so they simplified life, down-sizing their monthly overhead, said goodbye to our traditional jobs, gave-away most of their stuff, and jammed what they could into our little SUV, so they could experience more as a family and connect with more communities. #ProjectFullTimeFamily. After several years of traveling, Dai and Christie have moved back to Vancouver, Canada to honor their daughters' wishes of graduating high school.
