Growing up, his nose was always in a book, wrapped up in some fantastic story. As a father, he finds himself telling and reading stories to his children trying to ignite that little flame within them that has served him so well. He was drawn to History in his college years because it is the discipline we use to tell our stories. He believes it was an important part of how he learned to view the world and his place in it.
