The Life of Dad After Show

#148 - Dustin 'The White Tiger' Fleischer & Phil Fleischer

June 21, 2016

Art Eddy and Ryan Hamilton bring on Dustin and Phil Fleisher. Dustin "The White Tiger" Fleischer is a rising pro boxer from Monmouth Beach. Dustin has a perfect 6-0 record with five KOs.
Dustin is joined by his dad Phil, who is a former boxer and staple in his son's corner. Fleischer has been undefeated since his professional debut at Roc Nation Sports' inaugural throne boxing event on January 9, 2015 at Madison Square Garden Theater, continuing his quest to become the first grandson of a Holocaust survivor to be crowned world champion.
The guys chat with Dustin and Phil to talk about fatherhood, how Dustin got into boxing, wanting to fight UFC's Conor McGregor and more. Dustin and Phil share family stories of when the two boxed each other, and the powerful lessons they learned from Dustin's grandfather surviving the Holocaust.
Dustin is very passionate about the Monmouth County SPCA. Fleischer's aim to "knock out" animal abuse began 4 months ago when he began fostering Missy, who was brought to SPCA because her owner could no longer keep her. Shutdown and unengaged, Fleischer worked with Missy for several months to help her develop social skills and awareness. Thanks to Fleischer's devotion, Missy was adopted last month.
Dustin is also an active supporter of Jewish Federation & Family Services/Cafe Europa and Team LeGrand of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.
