This week in American Idols we are tackling that most American of American values: freedom (out of Galatians 5:1-24). Like most of our idols, freedom is a good thing, which God created for his people to enjoy. But like other good things, when we make it an idol it ends up diminishing rather than enriching us. On Sunday we will be looking at freedom as God envisions it vs. some of the ways we distort it, and ask how we can become the kind of people who live in the sort of freedom God desires for us.
