As we are in between series, this week I want to share the story of what is happening in the relationship between our local churches and Torrance PD, and look at how the Bible describes the function of the police in society. We will be working out of two texts: Lk 3:14, which describes what integrity looks like for the officer, and Rom 13:1-5, which describes what God expects of governing authorities more broadly.
