The Bible describes the Spirit’s work as sanctifying us, and uses a lot of language to describe our relationship with the Spirit – being filled with the Spirit, walking with the Spirit, keeping in step with the Spirit, etc. But how do we know if this is happening? How can we tell if we are walking with God’s Spirit? One way to answer that is by looking at the Spirit’s roles in our lives. We are told that the Spirit leads us into truth (right head), develops godly character in us (right heart), and empowers us for works of service (right hands).
