This week is word #2: “no making images of God.” Often we look at this and it sounds just like the 1^st commandment, to have no other gods. But this is a little different – once you have decided to worship God alone, the next temptation is to refashion him into a god who better suits our tastes. This week is all about how our idols diminish God’s worship, and diminishes us as his people.
