This week we are in Acts 15:36-41, where we see Paul and Barnabas have so sharp a disagreement over what to do with a young leader that they end up parting company. It’s a cautionary story, meant to remind us to fight to remain united, to look to the Holy Spirit for wisdom, and to always leave room for a person to change course (the young leader is eventually vindicated).
