This Sunday, back to Acts! We are in the martyrdom of Stephen, Acts 6:8-8:1. Here Stephen retells the story of Israel, but with a surprise ending that his accusers don’t like: that they are not the heroes in the story – the worshipers, the Law-keepers, and the prophetic, but rather the idolaters, the disobedient, and the persecutors.

Emphasis will be on humbling ourselves before God and receiving his wisdom over our own.
