This week we are in Acts 2:1-41, the Holy Spirit coming on the believers, and the church is officially born. If Acts 1 teaches us what the church is, Acts 2 shows us who comprises the church.  From its first day, the church is a wildly inclusive community of Spirit empowered, forgiven people, carrying out God’s purposes in the world.
