This week we are in Revelation 3:7-13, and the quality Jesus is looking for in the church is mission. “I’ve opened a door for you!” Jesus says. And the church must be ready to walk through it. We are reminded here of God’s love for the world – a love that compels God to be a missionary God, and to call us to join him in the work of love that he is carrying out.
