This week we are back in Learning to Pray Like Jesus, with word #3: surrender. When we pray “your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven,” we are affirming that God’s way is the best way, and the best we can want for this world of ours is for it to look like heaven – where God’s will is done perfectly. And this raises the question for you and I of surrender: Will I align myself with God’s will, or demand that he align himself with mine?
