Liberty Roundtable Podcast

Radio Show Hour 2 – 03/31/2025
* Guest: Lowell Nelson - CampaignForLiberty.org, RonPaulInstitute.org
* Shut Down the Department of Education! - Ron Paul.
The executive order directs the secretary of education, “to the maximum extent appropriate and permitted by law, take all necessary steps to facilitate the closure of the Department of Education and return authority over education to the States and local communities.” This action is directed to be taken, though, “while ensuring the effective and uninterrupted delivery of services, programs, and benefits on which Americans rely.”
* "The key to improving the education system is putting control of education back in the hands of those who best know a child’s unique needs and abilities — parents."
* Ron Paul has an online curriculum which "provides students with a solid education in history, literature, mathematics, and the sciences. It also gives students the opportunity to create their own websites and internet-based businesses. This provides students with “real world” entrepreneurial experience that will be useful to them no matter what career path they choose." - RonPaulCurriculum.com
* The Libertas Network recently acquired Praxis, which helps "young adults launch a successful career without needing a college degree," and [I must add] without incurring tens of thousands of dollars of debt in the process. Visit Libertas (dot) org for more information.
* A Brief History of the Freedom of Speech - Andrew P. Napolitano.
* Diego Garcia Smells Like War - Daniel McAdams.
"Congress seems uninterested in its Constitutional obligation to serve as the red light or green light for war – there has been nary a peep over Trump’s bombing of Yemen to, as his top aides were caught saying, “send a message.”"
* When will Congress have the backbone to fill their constitutional role to determine when the US will go to war, instead of [unlawfully] delegating to the president their war-making authority.
* America in the Age of Trump 2.0 - Daniel McAdams.
* Why We Don’t Sing the “Battle Hymn of the Republic” - Tyler Boyd, LewRockwell.com
* Documentary Film Crew from Japan Visits Utah!
