Interview Starts at 20:17
We have blended in the coffee shops into the bookstores and the gathering places. Now with this [Amazon Source] you have the ability for the people who are buying the electronic readers to feel not guilty when going to the bookstores to browse. They can come back to the bookstore and know that, “Hey, this is my favorite bookstore. Even though I’m not buying directly from them, I’m buying their electronic device, and they can contribute back into that community, whether it’s the book club that they’re a part of, the tea and biscuits in the afternoon. That’s what I want to grow into myself, here at the store.”
