Co-author of “E-Readers Are More Effective than Paper for Some with Dyslexia”
Interview Starts at 17:34Â
I have had people with dyslexia come up to me and say, “Look, I can read much better on a Kindle. In fact I was never able to read before, and now I’ve got the Kindle, and I can read.†And they often say, “I think it’s because I’m not so worried about the amount of text I have to read, because I don’t see all that.†And maybe there is something to that, but our research suggests that that’s probably not the reason that the Kindle is benefiting, that it has to do with this narrowing of the visual attention.â€
