I really do think that these retina display type of devices are the future for reading everywhere except maybe out of doors. I still think a Paperwhite is great for outdoors. I mean, the Paperwhite’s amazing. But the Nexus 7 and the Kindle HDX have these really super tight-res screens upwards of 300 pixels per inch, just like an iPhone 5S. And what you get is you can see every letter in a way that makes you feel like you’re reading a printed page more than a pixelated, digital screen.
