Owner of Social Publishing HouseÂ
Interview Starts at 26:44
A buddy of mine came into my cubicle where I was working and he said, “OK, if money wasn’t an object, what would you do?” And I said, “I’d sit in my chair, and I’d read all day.” He’s like, “Well why don’t you do that?” and I’m like, “How am I supposed to make a career out of that?” One thing led to another, and I was driving to work one day, and all of a sudden just the idea of helping other authors and people get together to produce books and me getting to read those books and helping them put them together–that’s what really started to excite me. After I came up with that idea, I couldn’t sleep, and I couldn’t stop thinking about it, so I decided to pursue it.
