In this episode, Tiffany Parker and I discuss her new book "Whispered like Wildfire" and Reclaim611.org. An organization that is uniting front-line providers to Recognize, Respond, Report and Reclaim victims of human trafficking.
Tiffany Parker has nearly a decade in public service and emergency management. She’s earned a Master’s degree in Emergency Management and Homeland Security, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and Emergency Management from Arizona State University.
She’s served as a firefighter in Arizona as well as working with FEMA in shelter operations. As the Training and Exercise Coordinator for the City of Dallas Office of Emergency Management, she designed and conducted Dallas’s largest full-scale exercises to date.
Her current roles as the emergency management coordinator for Baylor Scott and White Health Police Department in Dallas and president of the Downtown Security Directors Association puts her in a position to train, plan, and work in a wide variety of public safety arenas, including curtailing human trafficking.
