This week we had the pleasure of reuniting with our old pal Jared Platt. Jared, who has battled his entire life with type 1 diabetes was diagnosed with stage 4 Ewing's Sarcoma ( a rare form of cancer) in September. The disease showed itself in the form of a malignant tumor on his sacrum and after aggressive treatment at Sloan Kettering's Cancer Treatment center in NYC, Jared continues to fight his battle at home. It was so awesome to joke around with him like we have in the past, name drop and tell stories on some of the superstars Jared is close to and trained with in the past and talk about the battle he is fighting. Jared did discuss the amazing support and donations to the GoFundMe campaign started to pay his medical bills. The campaign is ongoing and any donations are appreciated. We are rooting for Jared everyday and encourage our KOTO family to join us in helping out this great guy win his fight.

We also talk to another pal, UFC Welterweight George "The Silencer" Sullivan. George is fighting January 30th at the prudential center against Alexander Yakovlev. During our talk with George we discuss his opponents rap videos, how he is preparing differently without the use of IVs, steroid issues among fighters, home ownership and his future plans. As part of the KOTO family, we love have George on and when he fights it is a KOTO holiday. we can't wait to root him on January 30th!
