American Journalist and writer Ambrose Bierce was a Civil War Veteran, having fought many battles under the command of President Abraham Lincoln. After the war, he chased his childhood dream of become a writer, the be ranked with the likes of Edgar Allan Poe and Mark Twain. And he found himself some moderate success as he wrote for publications across the United States from San Francisco to New York…as well as across the pond, in London, England.
