On March 10, 1928, single mom living in Los Angeles, Christine Collins had to go to her job at the phone switchboards. So, she gave her 9 year old son Walter money to go to the movies. He was never seen again. After an exhaustive investigation the LAPD, 5 months after Walter went missing, was told the boy was found in Illinois.
