Haben Sie sich schon einmal gefragt, wer für moderne Sportstätten wie das Wörthersee Stadion oder die neue Raiffeisen Arena in Linz verantwortlich zeichnet? Arenen, in denen nicht nur Profisport geboten wird, sondern die auch spezielle Bedürfnisse von Fans, VIP-Gästen und Sponsoren abdecken sollen, im Idealfall sogar für Konzerte und andere Großevents geeignet sind und dabei größtmögliche Sicherheit gewährleisten?

Die KaffeehausTALK-Hosts Lorenz Kirchschlager und Simon-Peter Charamza wollten mehr darüber erfahren und haben Harald Fux, Architekt und Geschäftsführer der Raumkunst ZT GmbH, vors Podcast-Mikrofon gebeten. Fux erzählt auf unterhaltsame und spannende Art und Weise, warum er während des Studiums fast Privatkonkurs anmelden musste, wie ihn seine ersten Berufserfahrungen im Büro von Architekt Albert Wimmer prägten, und warum er sich 2007 dazu entschloss, gemeinsam mit seiner Frau Christine Diethör, den Traum der Selbständigkeit zu verwirklichen.

Fux gewährt detaillierte Einblicke in seine Arbeit bei den Stadionprojekten in Innsbruck, Klagenfurt und Linz, und erzählt, wie die Instagramability US-amerikanischer Sport-Tempel seine Vision von modernen Stadien beeinflusst. Neben all diesen millionenschweren Projekten liegen Fux aber vor allem die kleinen und gemeinnützigen Bauten am Herzen. Wenn er vom Sportpark in Kirchberg am Wagram oder der Sanierung von Wiener Rundhallen erzählt, geht dem gebürtigen Oberösterreicher so richtig das Herz auf.
