Rifka Lebowitz is back on Jewish Money Matters talking about the recently released, newly revised and updated edition of her book Smarter Israeli Banking: the ultimate insider’s guide to banking in Israel. Now for those of you who don’t have Israel on the plans or even who maybe have been there a while and have experience navigating the system, I still think you’ll gain a lot of valuable information. First of all, as Rifka walks us through the different updates in the Israeli banking system you will get a rather positive view of the way the Israeli banking system works. It often gets a bad rap but Rifka and I see a lot of positives in what is often seen as rigidity. So look out for that, as well as, well, we can’t help it… we do geek out about certain things that are pertinent to being smarter with our money, that apply to all of us regardless of where we are in the world.
