B”H
Today we’re talking about rejection, taking risks, wanting more, and when being needy or attached to the outcome be it a financial outcome, or other, backfires, all with New York Times Best Selling Author, Harlan Cohen. Harlan is my new favorite person on Instagram. Or like I told him, I want to be Harlan when I grow up. Not because he has a huge social media following – which he does, but because he’s doing wonderful work through his books – 7 of them already – online courses, seminars, and more, helping countless people take risks and navigate change. His advice is directed at the youth transitioning into college, but honestly it’s applicable to all of us.
A little bit more about Harlan, He’s a journalist who’s visited over 500 high school and college campuses. He’s authored 7 books, with over 1 million copies in print. Among them: Win or Learn: The Naked Truth About Turning Every Rejection into Your Ultimate Success, as well as The Naked Roommate: And 107 Other Issues You Might Run into In College.
Harlan is a frequent guest on television and radio programs, hosts The Harlan Cohen Podcast, and has popular social media accounts with over 1 million followers across platforms. He hosts Best First Year, a college success and coaching program for students and parents. He’s a husband and father of three, and as you’ll soon hear a real mentch – a really good human.
