Mark and Janet Dance are college sweethearts and native Texans who have been married for 28 years and live near Nashville, TN. Mark launched a new division at LifeWay Christian Resources called LifeWay Pastors in 2014 to help pastors win at home and church. Mark served as the Sr Pastor of Second Baptist Church in Conway, Arkansas from 2001-2014. During his ministry at 2BC, the church completed a historic relocation, while repurposing its former downtown campus into an evangelical ministry center which hosts a dozen weekly ministries. Mark earned a business degree (BBA) from Howard Payne University, an MDiv from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a DMin from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. His love of missions has led him to more than two dozen countries.
