You’ve co-authored (with Warren Bird) Next: Pastoral Succession That Works. The church that I pastor was once the second-largest church in America, and nearly closed several decades later. The beginning of the demise was the way the pastor for 40 years and 6 months stood up in April of 1983 and quit with no notice or plan. What are some key truths you’ve learned about succession plans?
