3.04 - Anti-Gay Bill, Religious Freedom, and Scientific Three-Ways

February 26, 2014

On this episode mostly about everything Arizona, we take a look at the recent controversial bill that would allow business owners, as long as they assert their religious beliefs, to deny service to gay and lesbian customers.

What does this bill really mean for our country, economy, and citizens – specifically those that in the LGBT community? What about religious freedom? And what will the governor do about it? Will she veto it or let it become law?

We also joke about a wild gang of Chihuahuas that are terrorizing the suburbs of Phoenix, and discuss a horrific story about a police officer that tortured a dog in attempt to kill it, that had been hit by another police officers car.

We also talk about the white lab coat guys trying to create genetically modified humans by taking DNA from a third person and adding it to the DNA of the embryo, creating a triad of scientific baby making awesomeness. What does this mean for humanity if we start creating humans that are genetically modified to be void of disease, or even carry special abilities such as better eyesight, better brain functioning and additional lifespan?
