Born in New Haven, Connecticut to Sri Lankan immigrants, Dileepan Ganesan is a filmmaker based in Inwood, NYC. His films share a common thread: humanism and love struggling to prevail in an often unforgiving society. He has made one feature film "Sometimes Why," which was selected by the Inwood Film Festival in their Feature Film category and is also a recipient of a grant from Inwood Film Festival Filmmaker Fund for his newly completed film “The Other Side of Broadway.”
