Inspiring Voice - Matt Poepsel PhD - 3 Elements of Enlightened Leadership

March 06, 2025

As Matt Poepsel and I dig in today…and a little about his book… Expand the Circle: Enlightened Leadership for the New World of Work…

When it comes to Leading YOURSELF, Matt says…

·     For many leaders, self-awareness is quite anemic

·     He also recommends the art of self-acceptance. Embrace your limitations to deepen your leadership

·     Becoming internally aware rather than externally helps you avoid being a ‘Pleaser’

On…Leading OTHERS Matt recommends…

·     Encourage creativity and strike a balance with feasibility

·     Senior leaders today must make top-down investments to promote employee wellness is no longer just an option…

·     A weak culture produces flimsy bonds; a strong one acquires best talent who wants to stay. And lead.
