There is currently a discussion about a controversial law being debated in Quebec concerning hate speech. Some religious groups are in favor of a law which would apply sanctions against those who critique their beliefs. They see any critique of their faith as blasphemy or a form of hate speech, and even some left wing politicians and activists say that no one should be permitted to criticize or mock religions. In this week's episode of the Inquisitive Minds Podcast, we ask whether or not the criticism of belief can be equated to hate speech.
