MedSTAR EMS changed its name recently to MedSTAR Mobile Healthcare. This signifies a fundamental shift in how healthcare is provided on MedSTAR ambulances. At a time when many systems are trying to reinvent themselves and fit into the new reformed system of healthcare in the United States, MedSTAR is paving the way with their move to become a true mobile health care system and not just a transport service. MedicCast host Jamie Davis, the Podmedic is joined by Matt Zavadsky, Director of Public Affairs at MedSTAR Mobile Healthcare to talk about how other systems can make the improvements and innovations that MedSTAR has.
