在能源轉型的道路上,太陽能會遇上陰雨、風力會遇上颱風,台灣要走向近零碳排,需要更多能夠補位的再生能源。其中,「地熱」因為穩定、不受天候影響,被視為極具潛力的基礎能源。但地熱開發的第一步不是往地底鑽,而是看得懂地下世界。本集邀請國立臺灣大學新碳勘科技研究中心的郭成皓老師,深入解密地熱探勘、地震監測、碳封存與 AI 技術如何串成台灣的下一步能源布局。

新碳中心的任務就像替台灣做「地球健檢」。不論是地熱發電還是碳封存,都要先了解地底的體質──哪裡有裂隙?哪裡有熱源?哪種岩層適合長期封存二氧化碳?這些資訊都不能靠猜。地熱開發的難題,不是看到溫泉就能鑽:許多人以為「哪裡冒煙、哪裡有溫泉,下面一定有地熱」,本急要來打破迷思。

從地熱發電到碳封存,台灣下一階段的減碳工程已不只看天吃飯,而是靠看得懂地底的能力。地質探勘不再只是挖土判斷,而是用 AI、深度學習與地震成像,打造一張能「透視台灣」的地下地圖。這張地圖將決定我們能在哪裡鑽井、在哪裡封存,甚至在哪裡打造能源新產業。台灣的近零碳排之路,也因此不再摸黑前行。
