FAVORITE PLAY OF THE WEEK

Kali:  I saw a true penta and we got 20 straight kills in one game to which the announcer yelled, “HERO OF THE STORM!†I thought that was pretty badass. Never heard that one before. Which actually reminds me, I think Blizzard took my advice because the celebratory kill emotes seem to be more pronounced, have either of you noticed that also?

Kali:  I went 27-0 as Valla. We whooped them so hard that the match didn’t even hit 15 minutes. I posted about it on our Facebook page and Twitter.

MAP TACTICS

Kali:  I saw an interesting map tactic on Dragonshire that I wanted to share. I posted a link to the video on my Youtube in the show notes so you can watch and see what I mean (start watching at about 44:00 to about 44:30). I was solo mid lane against 2 opponents. They went south of me in the jungle so I didn’t see them, into the merc camp that is positioned under the first gate. While standing there, they were able to destroy our fountain pretty darn quick and there was nothing I could do, solo, to stop them. There were a few times in team fights there where the fountain would have been really useful.

COMP TACTICS

Kali:  Here is what I know from playing all week long:  healers OP, especially Li Li (if played properly). It meant winning or losing in almost every match I played.

I’ve also noticed a lot of people talking about who should go in what lane on certain maps and from the beginning of matches stating “our comp is bad.†The metas are coming…
