Childhood friends Jay Morrisson and Danny Dunn grew up with a deep desire to write

and make movies. It’s what sparked a friendship over 12 years ago and it’s what

connects them to this day. Now in their mid-twenties, with Jay working in sales in

Chicago and Danny pursuing a standup comedy career in Los Angeles, they began to

worry that this dream was slipping away from them. Thus was born Honey, I Mixed the

Plot.

Equal parts film appreciation and improvisation, Jay and Danny meet each week and

attempt to showcase their screenwriting skills in real-time. On the spot and in only 15

minutes, they will take a pair of classic movies and combine them into a completely

original sequel. Once time expires, their new movie pitch will be handed to a special

guest judge and graded according to the Meter of Movie Magnitude.

Honey, I Mixed the Plot is Jay and Danny’s last chance to prove to themselves and the

world that their dream isn’t as unrealistic as people might think. And if nothing else, it

gives two childhood friends a reason to stay in touch from across the country.
