97: Profile of a Successful Online Learner

So many students in high school and college are now learning online, and they don't always know how to navigate and excel in a different environment to the physical classroom.

As I have been teaching online for many years now, I hope this episode helps those of you with online learners - and those of you who will have online learners in the future.

Here are the tips covered in this episode to help your child from an early age be ready to be a successful online learner.

1. Read instructions / syllabus

2. Be on time

3. Be tech-savvy (screenshot/details if there are issues)

4. Remove distractions

5. Follow rubrics

6. Communicate when problems or confusion

7. Be polite

8. Check grades

9. Don't plagiarize
